My hamsters' mouths are watering. Is it heatstroke or illness?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | unspayed | 28 days old

Hi um... I have two Campbell dwarf hamster and they still young but young enough to separate them from their mother, their mouth is watering and they're not showing any of the symptoms of a wet tail and diarrhea, I'm kinda worried and scared of my place because it's hot and I have to turn on the fan... The other vet said that they were hydrated but i don't know...pls help me

Try to ensure that your hamsters have plenty of cool, fresh water, fresh food, and access to shade to prevent them from over-heating. Ideally they should be kept inside. If they are eating and drinking normally and are active then I would not be too concerned. If they are refusing food and seem listless or lethargic then you should take them to be checked out by your veterinarian as soon as possible.
