Can guinea pigs or rabbits safely free-roam a room? What pets can?

Trying to find a small pet that can roam around a room safely probably not a ferret because I have a hamster in the same room could a guinea pig or rabbit be Free roamed in the room or is there any other pets that could thank you

A rabbit may be let out to roam. They are easily litterbox trained as well. You would need to fully "rabbit proof" the room though. This would entail keeping all wires, and anything else that could cause harm if chewed, out of reach.
