My ferret has diarrhea 2 months after a food change. Is this normal?

Hi!!! My ferret, she is like 1 year old, she is playful as always, she runs around the house and she looks normal. But like 2 months ago, I changed her food from the marshalls brand to the kaytee. All she poops now is diarrhea and I wanted know if that is normal.

It could be normal to have diarrhea after a food change but usually the diarrhea happens pretty soon after the new food is started and not 2 months later. I suggest you get Bella a probiotic and feed her that for a few weeks. If no improvement in the stool quality you should then get her to your vet for an exam and fecal test to check for worms.

Hope this helps. Best wishes.
