My ferret has small, circular, itchy scabs on his back. What is it?

Hello. My male ferret, which whom I adopted from an ASPCA not even a year ago has developed some small, circular itchy scabbing in the middle of his back. Looking like a pen point.. Can you please help me with what this may be? Stress?

I would be happy to provide a consultation and take a look at some photos. If you notice that the spot becomes larger, changes shape, or starts bleeding, you should have him examined by a vet as soon as possible. Your vet can take a sample from the region to determine exactly what it is.
