Hi my pet turtle was rescently bit on the tail by my other turtle it doesn’t look too bad but I’m still concerned I cannot afford the vet right now is it something I should be concerned about? What do I do?

If you have a male who is constantly aggressive with a female then you may need to consider separating them. It can be dangerous and very stressful for the female. As for the wound I would encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. Reptiles do not heal very quickly and they can develop deep infections that many need antibiotic therapy to resolve. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
