My leopard gecko ate partially decomposed crickets. Is she okay?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Hi, My leopard geck is about 6 years old. My aunt was sitting her for me. However, my aunt ended up feeding my Leo partially decomposed crickets yesterday. She seems fine, but it still worries me, will this hurt her?

There is no way for me to know for sure that Blue will be fine but I honestly think this is nothing to worry about. I would just monitor her closely for any signs of illness. At this point that is really all you can do.

If Blue were mine, I would not be overly worried. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
