Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 8 years and 8 months old | 7 lbs
My yorkie was diagnosed with acute renal failure last Thursday as well as a level 5 heart murmur. She has also been on Gabapentin for seizures for about a year and a half. The vet wasn't sure if the dog could handle the aggressive kidney treatment because of the heart murmur. The vet sent me home with a bag of fluids and needles to push fluids at home. The dogs symptoms are getting worse. Am I just prolonging her misery and suffering by pushing these fluids at home? Should I try the aggressive?
