How to treat fleas on my 6-week-old Labrador puppy with flea dirt?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 11 days old | 3.7 lbs

I have 6 week old labrador who i think has fleas i cought 2 today he also has flea dirt. Few days ago i paid visit to my vet i think this is when he cought flea i haven't bathed him yet. What should i do?

It’s hard to know where the fleas came from. Certainly any place that has animals present can have fleas. Fleas are also very commonly outside and will come into the house on pant legs, socks and shoes. Regardless of where they can from, you now have fleas in the house. Every female flea lays 50 eggs per day and the eggs hatch out 3-6 months later so you need to use a good flea prevention for at least 6 months.
I recommend to call your veterinarian and get a recommendation for a safe, effective flea product and start using it. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
