Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 10 years and 1 month old
My dog has been limping for almost a week and he appears to be in pain when we touch his leg. He now appears to have the same in his other leg now so that is both front legs. We are apprehensive about contacting the vet as he was very aggressive the last time we had to take him. Can you give us some advice please

Call your vet and schedule and exam. The vet may prescribe an oral sedative to be given before the appointment that may calm Hamish. Xrays of the limbs will likely be required. Restrict his activity to just leash walks for elimination until Hamish sees the vet.
