Why can't my Shih Tzu puppy jump, sits weird, and has messy poop?

Poor Snoop. His reluctance to move and lack of energy makes me worry that he may be in pain. Orthopedic problems usually present as slight behavior changes as you described. He could've possibly hurt his hindlimbs or spine. I'd highly recommend having him seen by a veterinarian for an orthopedic examination and physical exam. They can help isolate the origin of his discomfort if present.

Poor Mischa! It could be that she strained or tore a ligament, or she could be suffering from a condition known as a luxating patella. This is when the kneecap moves out of it's correct anatomical position, and it is common in toy and small breed dogs. I recommend resting Mischa for the next 48 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Take her out to toilet on a lead only, and bring her right back in when she's done. If she still appears painful after this time, then I would take her into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose where the pain is coming from, and can dictate a treatment plan for it. She may also benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe. Please do not give her any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.

Often I see anal sac infections, or perianal dermatitis ( skin infection) causing the signs that you are seeing. However, back pain could be another possible cause. Given current events, you may need to drop him off at the clinic, then wait for your veterinarian to call you to discuss exam findings and treatment options. Pain medication can be dispensed if indicated. Do not medicate him without the advice of your veterinarian. Many OTC medications can be toxic or are easily overdosed.

He could have a torn the ligament in his knee, have back pain, or an arthritis flare up causing these symptoms assuming you didn’t see him get injured. I’m glad you’re taking him in soon. It sounds like your dog has a problem with her back as that is a common sign of back pain. Dogs are usually reluctant to jump because it causes pain. Your vet can check her for back pain and then prescribe medications to help. She may need an anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxer, and/or pain medications to help. Also, it would be a good idea to restrict her activity for a few weeks, no running, jumping, etc. Hope she feels better soon!
