Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 3.9 lbs
My 15 year old chihuahua averaged a weight around 4.1 lbs for many years. The last few months of his life he dropped to 3.9. Is this cause for concern for a dog his size? I’m asking because I have another chihuahua that’s the same size he was and I want to keep an eye out for her.

He looks like he is in healthy condition, so I don't think you need to be too concerned. If he is having diarrhea, vomiting, a big drop in his appetite, if he seems short of breath or has had any coughing, or if he seems like his attitude is different--not as playful, is sleeping a lot more, seems lethargic, etc-- then take him in to your vet. At his age, it would be wise to consider having some bloodwork run just as a senior screening to make sure everything is looking good.
