My puppy has worms. Can I give him adult Heartguard cut in half?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 19 days old | 25 lbs

I'm on disability but my pocket has worms I had some heartguard medicine left over from an adult dog I had before that was run over can i give it to pocket if I cut it in half

Hello, I would not recommend giving him an adult size heart guard even if it is cut in half. Unfortunately, the best way to obtain the adequate dewormer for Pocket will be during his first puppy exam and vaccines. Depending on your location, you may be able to find free or low cost vaccine and dewormer clinics that may be able to help you out with costs. Your veterinarian may have further information on where you can obtain low cost vaccinations and dewormers. Hope this helps and best of luck.
