Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 5 days old | 45 lbs
My 5 month old golden retriever swallowed a toy 2 weeks ago. Up until 2 days ago his stool was firm and normal. The last two days he has had diarrhea but that is his only symptom. He has not vomited, he is acting totally normal, playing, no signs of pain, has a massive appetite. Could this be related to an obstruction?

Since this has been going on for three days and he has a history I would get him seen by your vet as soon as possible. If he has an obstruction, it could be with something small enough to allow some things to pass, but still enough to irritate his bowel. A bacterial or viral infection is also possible. If his energy level is not what it was, it could mean the problem is progressing and getting him seen sooner rather than later is a good idea.
