Jack didn’t eat dinner and i can hear his stomach gurgling from across the room (and he’s got some gas). When should I be concerned that this is more than an upset tummy? No diarrhea that we’ve seen.

I am sorry to hear that your puppy is sick. The gurgling you hear in his stomach is probably a mixture of the food being processed, gas/gas bubbles, and possibly a little bit due to hunger.
Once the diarrhea starts to clear up you can begin introducing puppy food, in small amounts, back into his diet. You could also try feeding him some plain boiled chicken and rice as this is very easy on the digestive tract. Feeding smaller meals more frequently may help his digestion and cut down on the sounds you are hearing from his tummy.
If the diarrhea continues despite the medications you are giving him, or if he starts vomiting, then I would recommend taking him back in to the vet for a recheck.
Best of luck!
