Lying around not feeling well and not eating is a non-specific sign of an illness. Your puppy could have a tummy ache, worms or one of the serious viral puppy diseases like canine parvovirus infection. If Lucky has not had any vaccinations then he could very well have a parvo infection which is life threatening if not treated. Pitbull puppies and Rottweiler puppies seem to be very prone to this infection. If your pup does not perk up, vomits after drinking water or eating and if he is very lethargic, you need to take him to an emergency room right away. Parvo-infected puppies get very ill very quickly, dehydrate quickly and can die from sepsis and dehydration.

It sounds like he could possibly have parvo virus. I suggest you have him to a vet immediately for an exam. Even if it is not parvo, continued vomiting and not eating/drinking are not good signs. Dogs rarely throw up even if they are having heat stroke so I doubt it is due to the heat but, of course, it could be and heat stroke is an emergency. Please get him examined by a vet as soon as possible.
