Is it safe if my puppy received vaccines earlier than her actual age?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

My puppy saw the vet today and had several vaccines including a Rabies shot. When I got home I noticed on her paperwork her age was listed as 15 weeks old, but she is not quite 13 weeks. She will be 13 weeks old this Saturday. I called them and they had her birthday wrong. Should I be worried that she has been getting her vaccines earlier than what vet recommends?

Hi there. No, that's not a problem at all. After the first set, the timing of vaccines is based on when the last boosters were given, not on the specific age of the pup. So this won't hurt anything at all.
