A sudden change in food can cause digestive upset so it is possible the new food is upsetting his stomach. I would try to find the old food and start him on it again to see if it helps. I would also avoid any people food or treats especially if he is being picky or has stomach upset, as these could be making things worse.
If he doesn't improve even back on the old food, or shows additional signs of illness, a vet visit is always best.
