My 9-year-old Rottweiler is pregnant. Is it safe for an older dog?

my female Rottweiler is pregnant but she is not young at all it was an accidental pregnancy she is 9 years old will she survive its too late for aboration

I can certainly understand being concerned about Prec! Older dogs do have more trouble giving birth, so I would be prepared to have to take her into the vet for an emergency c-section should she show signs of distress during labor. I would also be prepared financially for that possibility, and it can be quite expensive to have a c section done on a dog. If she isn't far along in the pregnancy, you can have the pregnancy terminated by having Prec spayed, and you can talk to your vet about that possibility.
