Thinking of homemade dog food? Is it healthier and what should I feed?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 24 days old | 5.1 lbs

hello I am considering switching my dog food to homecook food. Is it actually better? If I brush her teeth everyday and give her some crunch. And if yes, how much percent of what to give? As I researched for 40%protein,50%vege and 10%starch. Cause many dogs lose allergy, gain weight and is healthier after switching to homecook meals.
