Why is my Frenchie's first heat cycle so long? Is it normal?

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 14 lbs

My frenchie has her first heat started spotting on and off June 6 up until July 1 she started bleeding red blood took her to the vet they can’t give me answers just her blood xrays and uti test are normal I need help I’m really worried can this be normal?

Hello. It is very normal for young dogs to have split & prolonged heat cycles the first few times. They usually regulate to a more normal rhythm later on. As long as every test turned up nothing abnormal, you can definitely wait a bit. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
