It depends on the brand of food. Read the bag and if it says it is "approved for all life stages" then it should be OK. Adding the chicken is fine but that won't balance the diet for an adult dog vs a senior dog. If you want to continue with the senior food then I would suggest getting her a multi-vitamin so that you are sure she is getting all the nutrients she needs.

Senior food tends to have less calories and maybe some other ingredients to help with arthritis, but is adequate for adults. If your dogs are overweight, then I'd advise feeding the senior food. If they are all lean, then it would be fine to feed them all the adult food. There is not really a big difference, so that is the only consideration I have for determining the best formula to feed.
