My dog is wobbly, bloated, not eating, and smells fishy. What to do?

It sounds as Nena is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti nausea injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Withhold food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet (1:1 ratio of plain boiled boneless chicken and plain white rice). Feed in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. If the vomiting stops, continue feeding until the stool is normal. Transition slowly to the regular diet. If the vomiting or diarrhea don’t stop, see your veterinarian. The fishy odor is likely from her anal glands. These glands are located around her rectum and are responsible for scenting and marking. They get expressed (or emptied) during defecation but sometimes, they can get too full and inflamed or infected. Occasionally, an abscess can form requiring lancing, flushing and antibiotic therapy.

These are all very concerning signs, especially the bloating which can be due to heart, liver or hormonal conditions all of which can increase the risk of debilitating infections. Please have him assessed urgently and take a urine sample with you if at all possible in order to speed diagnosis and appropriate treatment

Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. It is not possible to help her at home without knowing what she has. I recommend that you have Loki evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I think that if this continues, Zekie should be evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may be able to look into this so that it can be treated. Further diagnostics would include general labwork and abdominal imaging. You can try giving him a bland diet such as one composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice to entice his appetite. This could be anal gland issue. Charlie should be checked out by her veterinarian when they are open just to make sure it's not an anal gland infection. If her anal gland's are normal they will do a full exam most likely to rule out anything else that could be going on.
