What is this white lump between my dog's front legs? Is it a cyst?

Without seeing it in person it is hard to know for sure what the growth is. It is not likely a wart. Warts are caused by viruses and often seen in the mouth of dogs. This may very well be a benign skin tag/growth, but with any lump an evaluation by your veterinarian at your earliest convenience is recommended. They may take a small needle sample and look at the cells under the microscope to get more info and make sure it is nothing to worry about. They can also discuss options for removal if it is growing or if it is bothering pogi.

Hello and thank you for your post! Thank you for the pictures as this helps narrow down what this could be. It appears to be a cyst or wart like mass that has developed. If Joyce is an older dog, changes to the skin are typical and we can see warts and cysts develop more frequently with age. If you are concerned about this, then I would take her in to see your vet to see if they can definitively say whether or not it is a cyst or wart. There are simple tests we can do in the hospital setting to get a better idea of what it could be. We can stick a small needle in the mass and look at the contents under a microscope to help better understand what it could be. Hope this helps!
