Why is my dog weak with bleeding gums and black liquid poop?

Chunk may have a bleeding ulcer in his mouth or throat, or a severe tooth infection. He is obviously swallowing blood which then gets digested and shows up in the feces (tarry black). You will need to take Chunk to your vet for an exam of the mouth and throat. Once the cause of the bleed is found it needs to be stopped, which could mean a dental cleaning with extractions of an abscessed tooth or other measures depending on where he is bleeding from. Please take Chunk to your vet ASAP.

If the masses on the liver / spleen ruptured, I would expect her abdomen to be getting larger and her gums to be getting pale due to the hemorrhage. If she has black tarry stool, my concern is that the cancer is also somewhere in the GI tract. If clinically she is unchanged and doing ok, I would speak with the oncologist and see what the recommendations are in regards to this. The fact that there are cancerous changes evident on the liver and spleen, tells me that this is spreading, which is not good. However, that being said, these could be benign. I just worked on my friends dog who had a liver mass and splenic tumor in his dog. I surgically removed a liver lobe and the spleen and the dog is doing better than ever still and this was done about 6 months ago. There is no way to tell for sure whether or not these are cancerous masses until a biopsy is done or the masses are removed and sent out to the laboratory for testing. As long as Chewy is stable and doing the same, I would recommend speaking with the oncologist and see what their opinion is considering all of these changes. It sounds like Euro is really sick. I would put a little Karo syrup or honey on his gums to ensure his blood sugar isn't too low. With his gums being white and his stool looks black I would strongly encourage to take him to your vet or local emergency clinic ASAP. He could be suffering for a GI bleed, a large number of intestinal parasites, a fatal virus like parvo or much more. With him being so small, he is likely dehydrated and Anemic. White gums are very concerning for anemia. It would be unusual for a 2 year old dog to have a bleeding ulcer, but it is possible. More commonly would be a tick born infection like ehrlichia, or even babesia . Sometimes the immune system can attack the red blood cells as well. I would suspect a toxin that was ingested or a systemic disease that is causing abnormal bleeding into the surrounding tissues of the body. I am very sorry to hear that Max is experiencing this issue, I am sure it is unsettling. From what you are describing, tar dirrhoea, you are probably observing fresh blood in it. it sounds as though Max has colitis, or inflammation of the last portion of the large intestines. There are several causes of colitis in dogs, ranging from bacterial infections, parasite infestations, IBD, or ingestion of contaminated food. So it is possible he ate a toxin or poison as well. Since you have noticed such episodes for a four day period and Max is not eating I would advise a trip to the veterinarian as soon as you can. Continue to monitor Max at home until then and Provide a bland diet of boiled boneless chicken breast and white rice and plenty of fresh water. If the episodes continue, if Max becomes depressed, passes large amount of blood, vomits, or seems very uncomfortable take Max to see his vet immediately. Poor Angel! Weakness and pale gums are common signs of anemia (low red blood cell counts). This can be caused by a large mass and internal bleeding. I recommend having Angel seen by a vet right away as this can be life threatening and requires immediate treatment and stabilization. I hope all is well!
