Why is my dog vomiting, panting, and licking paws after human food?

Because of the vomiting, I recommend getting your pet checked by your vet as soon as possible. Continued vomiting is very concerning and can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance as well as low blood sugar. He might have eaten something that either disagreed with him or something that has gotten stuck somewhere in his gastrointestinal tract. He could be sore from a hidden injury you are unaware of, he could have been exposed to some sort of toxin or irritant in his environment or this could be early signs of another condition or disease process. Your pet may need IV fluids to help support his/her system and to be fasted at the same time in order to give the gut a rest. Your vet can do an exam, blood work and possibly x-rays to determine the cause of the illness and suggest an effective treatment plan.

It' s best to have her checked over as soon as you vet it's open. It does not sound like anything too concerning, for sure she must have an upset stomach ( licking lips is normally a sign of nausea ). When it' s breakfast time try with a smaller portion of food and see if eating or at least interested and report to your vet.

This is a quite generic but concerning sign. Differentials are many, from gastrointestinal diseases (infection/inflammations often dietary related) to any disease that can spread systemically (causing lethargy for example) like infection, and anything that can cause pain/discomfort. Diarrhea and throwing up can be caused by a food sensitivity, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, an intestinal blockage, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc.  I would fast Olive Oyl for 24 hours and then put her on bland food for two days, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to regular food slowly over a few days. If this does not clear up the diarrhea or if the vomiting increases, or if your dog gets lethargic, she needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on. Licking her feet excessively can point to an allergy.

Difficulty breathing and panting could be a sign of heart disease or respiratory disease. Congestive heart failure would be the most common heart problem, while pneumonia, bronchitis, pleural effusion/fluid in the lungs would be some common respiratory problems. I would recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian as soon as possible if you feel Rex is having trouble breathing.

If it is just from changing his diet then this should stop very shortly. Your poor pup! She may be quite ill. Vomiting in dogs has many causes, some serious and others not so serious. This could be caused by [pancreatitis](https://www.petcoach.co/article/pancreatitis-inflammation-in-dogs), a [foreign body](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/foreign-bodies-in-the-small-intestine-in-cats-and/), or a severe GI illness. Given the number of vomiting episodes in a relatively short period of time coupled with the fact she is bringing up white foam, ideally, she should be physically examined by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. A complete exam and diagnostics (blood work, x-rays, etc.) may diagnose the underlying cause. Afterwards, the appropriate treatment can be administered. Supportive care (IV or subcutaneous fluids, anti-emetics, etc.) can be administered until a diagnosis is reached.
