My dog won't eat, vomited after milk, and ate plants. What to do?

You need to take Hank into a vet right away. It's quite serious he hasn't eating for three days and is vomiting. He could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a foreign body. He needs veterinary care immediately to diagnose what is causing these symptoms so he can be treated. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. While some dogs are allergic to eggplant, most dogs tolerate it just fine and I suspect this is not necessarily the cause of his symptoms. Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Voldemort evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. In looking up this plant, I can't find any information that they are toxic to dogs, but it is possible that eating it upset her stomach. Given that Roxy isn't acting any differently and is eating, I wouldn't be too worried about her just yet. I would be more worried if she having persistent diarrhea, is vomiting frequently, and isn't eating or drinking. You can try offering her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. Should she return to normal (i.e. no vomiting or diarrhea), then she will be just fine. Chronic vomiting, has multiple causes but may cause an electrolyte imbalance which could account for the symptoms you are seeing. If he is drinking more water than usual, he should be seen by your vet for an exam and bloodwork to rule out kidney disease, diabetes or other GI issues. When a pet is vomiting, withhold food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet (1:1 ratio of plain boiled boneless chicken and plain white rice). Feed in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. If he won't eat, serve the food warm or mix in a teaspoon of baby food to stimulate the appetite. If the vomiting stops, transition slowly to the regular diet. If not or if the appetite does not return, then you will need to see your veterinarian.

I would suspect that his lack of appetite is related to his recent episode of vomiting and blood in stool. There can be many different causes of this, so it's important to have him re-evaluated by a vet and treated again. He can go a couple of days without eating, but I would be more concerned if he was not drinking, had bloody stool, or vomit, or was acting very depressed/lethargic. If you are noticing these problems too, then it's best to have him seen by a vet within 24 hours. I see that you are in a rural area, but there may be a vet available in Wichita. If not, then there would definitely be vets available in Manhattan where the KSU vet school is. They have a great vet hospital there with many specialists on staff, so you may consider going there if you are not getting a good diagnosis, or resolution of his current problems. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any more ways to get him to eat at this time. It looks like you've offered some tasty food, so if he's not eating that, then he probably won't eat anything. Also, you can get more stomach/intestinal upset if you feed too rich of food at this time, so it's really best to have him seen by a vet before trying other food options. It's a good idea that you have kept him off food since, and if he has been off food for 24 hours, feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
