Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 10 months and 27 days old
My female basenji is very athletic and loves to play but today, after I made ger bath, she is sleeping most of the time... She even did not play with her favourite toy... I examined her ears and paws and felt a bit warmer than before. Her body was also a bit warmer. What could be the possible reason behind her behaviour? And what medicine should I give her? How can we be sure at home that a dog is having fever?

There are other possible causes that could make a dog tired and have an increased temperature so she should be examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause. She could have a uterine infection that needs to be treated. Your vet can take an x-ray or do an ultrasound and run some blood-work to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat.
