My dog has a tick. Should I go to the vet or a pet store for removal?

My dog has a tick, can I take the dog to the vet to have it removed or a pet store

I would take Trey to a vet to have it removed instead of the pet store. The employees of a pet store will not have the extensive training in treating animals, and given how important it is to have a tick removed completely without leaving any parts behind, it should be done by a veterinarian :-)
