Sonny has been having skin issues recently and at my request, had a thyroid test done at last vet appt. Test came back with a .9 score and vet says is a little low but not likely cause of skin issues. They put him on lowest dose of thyroxine for month to just see if there's a difference. How low is .9 and what does that mean? Should I be concerned? Spaniels are vulnerable to thyroid issues. Vet thinks it could be temaril P that causing low score as he was on that for itching a week prior to test
