My dog is vomiting and stares at the corner. He has vomited his food. Is my dog ok?

If Toby is vomiting, that means he’s sick. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, he develops diarrhea, he stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. It could be Chubbs ate something that upset his stomach. It's impossible to completely prevent any illnesses from occurring, but when you take him outside, watch him closely to make sure he doesn't eat anything foreign or another dog's poop. I can give you a home remedy for the vomiting. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Poor Chevy! He does sound like he has an upset stomach, and he may have a stomach illness. I can give you a home remedy for him to see if that helps. Withhold food until dinner tonight, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. It is possible Toby overindulged. Withhold food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Wait at lest an hour between feedings. Once the vomiting stops, transition slowly to the regular diet. if the vomiting does not stop or if Toby develops other symptoms (lethargy loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc.), then have him examined by your veterinarian.

He might have eaten something spoiled that is causing this. withhold food for 12 hours then offer Toby boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If he continues vomiting or is not eating, take him to the vet to get treatment.
