My white Westie has some redness at the base of her tail and on the front of her left forepaw. What does it mean and how can I treat it?

The reddish stain around his mouth and on his foot is from saliva. Saliva will stain white dogs that lick a lot. He could have allergies causing him to lick his paws. He could also have a problem with his anal glands since he is licking his rear end. Have your vet examine him to determine the cause and prescribe medications to help. He may need an anti-histamine and/or an anti-inflammatory to help treat .
