My Shih tzu swallowed a short rib bone two days ago and he hasn’t vommitted or pooped it out. Should I be worried?

He may be able to pass it. If so, it should come out within the next 12-36 hours. The only way to know for sure if he ingested it would be to have him x-rayed. It will show up on an x-ray.
In the meantime, monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, straining to defecate or vomit, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER should they develop.

Do not induce vomiting, the bone could get stuck in Cane's throat. Watch him for signs of obstruction, which include vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, lethargy, and blood in the poop. If you see any of those signs, have him seen by a vet immediately. Best of luck.
