I would continue to keep a close eye on Dasher. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water to drink. You can take his rectal temperature - normal is 100-102.5. If he has a fever or elevated temperature and is still acting abnormally, you may want to take him to an emergency veterinarian.
If his temperature is normal, I would watch him for 24 hours. If he is still exhibiting signs of stress (acting strange, passing a lot of gas, varying appetite) tomorrow, or starts vomiting or having diarrhea, he should be evaluated by a veterinarian.
