What can I give my dog to calm storm anxiety and stop licking?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 7 years and 3 months old | 150 lbs

I actually have two issues. First issue is what Can I Give 7 year old Labrador Retriever black lab to calm him down with lightning and rain and snow? Next question my 10 and a half month old mixed breed pitbull German Shepherd Siberian Husky likes to suck on himself if you know what I mean and we're trying to break it what can I do and to get him to stop because it's making him sick and it's making us sick thank you have a great day look forward to hearing from you

Your veterinarian can prescribe your Lab something to decrease his anxiety. Alprazolam/Xanax as needed usually does the trick. If your German Shepherd mix is not neutered, I would recommend getting him fixed ASAP. That should stop the issue after a few wks of neutering. It can take several weeks for the hormones to go away after neutering. In the mean time, try squirting him with water or water with a little vinegar in it every time you see him doing it to try and stop him.
