My dog had a histiocytoma removed from his thigh about a week and a half ago. The incision is not staying closed. There is a lot of tension and they are pulling through skin. The vet used internal and external stitches, and re-did them completely once already. Would staples be a batter option? Wouldn't they be able to fit more staples on incision to spread tension out and keep wound closed?
