My dog has a new skin tag on his elbow after vet visit. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 41 lbs

After coming back from.the vet i notice what seem to be a skin tag on his elbow.. Its not bothering him.. Just not sure

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Marko. I agree it does appear to be a skin tag. You can contact his veterinarian though to see if it was noted on his exam for more information. It is is not bothering him it is likely not necessary to have it surgically removed. Skin tags are common in middle age to older dogs. I hope this information helps!
