Hello! I have a ten year old schnoodle and we just move to NYC from Ecuador in South America. My dog has some crusts on her skin (her lower abdomen and back legs) what could it be? she is getting accustomed to a new food and to the warm weather

Not all dogs itch with allergies. Some just have sensitive skins and just gets skin infections easily. If the crusts are coming back quickly, she may need a longer course of antibiotics. I would also consider switching her to a grain free food that doesn't have chicken or beef in it. This may help with some of her sensitivities. You can also bathe her weekly to help prevent these infections. Your vet could give you an appropriate shampoo. I hope this helps.
