My dog keeps shaking his head and has no appetite. Is it serious?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 55 lbs

My dog keeps shaking his head. I've noticed that action for 2 days. Checked for ticks. None. No appetite this morning. Still had energy to run around the dog park this morning, but seems very content to chill other wise. Still no appetite.

It could be Milo has an ear infection. I'd take him into the vet in the morning. The vet can diagnose if he does have an ear infection, what is causing it (ear mites, yeast, bacteria), and how best to treat it. I hope this helps!
