Hello i have a dog,a boston terrier,2 days ago it wondered out of the house and came back with a scratch,today on the scratched spot there is a big wound and im not sure what could have caused it and is it dangerous

Hello. The infected paw could be due to any number of reasons (grass seed, ingrown nail, trauma, etc). The bumpy rash could be due to pyoderma (skin infection), food allergies, environmental allergies, fleas, etc. If she has scabs on her back I would be concerned about pyoderma or fleas. Your vet will look at her and be able to tell you by looking at her what the most likely causes are. They may need to do a skin scraping, or a test of her skin, or may be able to try with some medications. Either way, it sounds like you are right in taking her to see a vet today. These look unusual - I think these could potentially be hot spots or areas of superficial skin infection. Some fungal infections can also look similar. I would recommend making an appointment to see your vet in person. While you're waiting for your appointment it might be a good idea to put an e-collar on her to prevent her from licking and scratching.
