Ferdinand is sometimes dragging his butt across the carpet, not eating as much food as he usually does and coughing. I was thinking it could be worms but could it be anything else?

You are correct aha Ferdinand could have worms but he could also have impacted anal sacs causing him to drag his behind across the floor. I recommend having him seen by a vet and bring in a sample of his feces with you. The vet can diagnose if he does have worms and/or impacted anal sacs. Once the cause is diagnosed, the vet can treat him. If he has worms, the vet can give him a deworming treatment, and can express any impacted anal sacs. I hope this helps!
