My dog is scared of strangers. How can I get him to the vet for shots?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 15 lbs

My dog is 7 months old I got him 2 months ago and i need to take him to get his shots but he is super attached to us and only us he will growl and bark at everyone. How do I take him in to be seen

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is a lot more common than you think. The majority of hospitals have experience in these types of scenarios and are more than capable of dealing with this. They would restrain him well and be able to proceed with the vaccinations and whatever else was needed. Sometimes sedation is needed depending on the patient though this is rarely needed just for vaccinations. Good luck and have a great day!
