What causes red bumps, runny nose, and itchy face on my dog?

It sounds like Ruffo may be experiencing an allergic reaction. This could be due to something in the environment, foods, bee stings, etc, especially if it is causing facial swelling or puffiness. I would definitely schedule a visit with your vet to figure out the underlying cause and get him started on some meds such as an antihistamines to help with the swelling and itchiness. If the swelling worsens on his nose, or appears on his face, head, or neck, seeking care sooner is best as this is considered a serious condition.

This is probably caused by an allergic reaction. first of all make sure you de-flea Zeus regularly every month with a high quality spot on (ex. Advantage) as fleas are by far the most common reason for these reactions. If the fleas are not the problem, it could be an allergic reaction to food or an environmental factor. this is more complicated to treat and will sometimes require medications such as Steroids, anti histamines or Apoquel in order to stop the allergy.

These bumps could be a contact allergy, bacterial infection or caused by an auto-immune disease. Since Samson is already prone to allergies he may have been poking around somewhere with his mouth/face and had an allergic reaction. If the bumps do not go away within 24 hours I recommend you have your veterinarian examine Samson's mface. Samson may need some antihistamines or a steroid injection or antibiotics if this is a bacterial infection.

This could be a skin infection, but it can be a sign of an allergic reaction. I would have this checked out by a vet, but if these bumps get worse, Bean's muzzle starts swelling, and/or he has trouble breathing, take him into an ER vet immediately.

Oh dear, poor Tomo! Both the bump on his nose and the red bumps around his mouth look most consistent with hives. Hives occur most commonly as a result of an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, we often are unable to determine the precise cause of these reactions, but they can occur due to insect bites or contact allergies with different grasses, leaves, chemicals, among many others. Most allergic reactions can be managed with antihistamines, such as Benadryl (here is some more information: https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/ ), but some more severe reactions also require corticosteroids, such as prednisone. I strongly recommend discussing medication options with Tomo's vet or even taking him in for an exam to assure that there are not other more serious issues present. Buddu could be suffering from an allergic reaction, and these bumps could be hives. Allergic reactions need to be treated by a vet, as they can progress and lead to facial swelling and subsequent respiratory distress. Please take him into a vet now.
