Is my dog's poop normal when switching between different foods?

If she likes to have 1/2 of each then that would be good too. If at any point she develops diarrhea then it could be indicated to try something else. Good luck and have a great day!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You may need to feed the i/d stew for a few days in a row to appreciate a difference in stool. But Chloe's stool may look the same on both diets. The stool is normal in each picture, so I'm not sure what the goal with her stool is. I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Personally the color doesn't bother me but the consistency does. That is diarrhea. It is too soft and not formed. I would go back to the Royal Canin food as it sounds like he digests that one better. Be sure though that he has had his stool tested for intestinal parasites and is up to date on his DHPP vaccines. Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Feces should be a dark brown color, this is completely normal. It should be firm but not too dry. I would continue to monitor Luna's stools for any changes. If you see a pattern that is abnormal (red blood, dark black stool can be a sign of bleeding high in the intestinal tract, gelatinous stools mean the colon may be inflammed or whipworms are present, very light color stools, very loose stools, very dry stools) then you should contact your veterinarian and discuss what is going on. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Every dog is different. What one puppy tolerates another may not. If Lobo is having diarrhea be sure to have your Vet check for worms, as that is a common cause of diarrhea in puppies. I would try a different brand of puppy food. I like Hill's Science Diet, Purina and Royal Canin. It may take some trial and error to find on that he tolerates. If his abnormal stool persists you should have your Vet examine him. Be sure you keep him up to date on his shots. Have a great day!

Your dog has most likely gotten into something that has caused her stool to be abnormal. I would keep an eye on her for now. If thenstool continues to be abnormal or if she starts vomiting and/or having liquidy stools I would take her to the vet to be checked out. I hope this helps. I would keep Chloe on the Fromm if you like the ingredients better. The feces look fine in both pictures. Her feces in the Fromm look well formed and solid, and while some of it is a little lighter, that could be due to the ingredients in the food. As I said in my previous answer to your question, as long as the Fromm doesn't cause her diarrhea, it's fine to keep her on it.
