Help!! Some pink “pimple” looking liquid filled (I think) lumps appeared on my pups suture line just today, it isn’t painful and she doesn’t lick it. She was spayed almost 3 weeks ago with absorbable stitches. Help! Do I need to take her to the vet again? What could it be? I attached photos of it Thankyou!

Hello. Unfortunately, I do not see any photos attached to your post. Photos may be helpful. If these raises pink lumps are at the incision site- they may be a reaction to the dissolvable stitches that are under the skin surface. These dissolve slowly and often take up to 3 months to break down. It is possible that she has developed small abscessed at the site of theses stitches. These will possibly pop open like a pimple and drain a little bit of liquid. If that happens, simply dab the area with hydrogen peroxide a few times a day. It should resolve on its own. If you would like to forward some photos, contact customer support. Thank you
