Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! No, these are 2 very different tumors that arise from different tissues and also behave differently. Perianal gland tumors tend to be more benign in the vast majority of cases taking a very long time to progress as opposed to anal sac tumors which are malignant and have a chance of spreading.
