Why is my dog peeing blood and his penis tip is red and damaged?

Blood from the penis can be a result of a urinarh tract infection, prostate issue, bladder stones, or trauma. I recommend having Nemo examined by a veterinarian and having a urine sample checked to see if an infection is present. He may need X-rays to rule out a bladder stone. It would be best to have him examined as soon as possible as these issues can progress quickly. He may need a prescription medication like an antibiotic to treat the underlying issue. Urinating blood can indicating a bladder infection or something potentially life threatening like a clotting disorder. The fact that he is also committing indicates systemic illness. An examination is needed to determine the underlying cause and start treatment. Testing the urine and an x-ray may be recommended to find the cause of the blood in the urine. If Pursi becomes lethargic, starts vomiting, or is unable to urinate then this would be considered a medical emergency and urgent care should be sought.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor George!! Is George trying to poop or pee? If he is trying to pee and only blood is coming out then that is an emergency. He could be obstructed meaning something like a stone/tumor/crystals are blocking his ability to urinate. Or he could have a UTI, which isn't as much of an emergency. If George is straining to poop and blood is coming out then he likely has diarrhea with secondary inflammation, which is causing the blood. Anytime we see blood we like to start the pet on antibiotics. So I do recommend having him seen today by your Vet. Causes of diarrhea are: intestinal parasites, ate something gross that is upsetting his stomach, viral or bacterial infections, pancreatitis, underlying metabolic conditions (kidney or liver problems), food allergy or sensitivity.
