Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 years and 4 months old | 65 lbs

My dog had his vaccines done a couple weeks ago (he was previously vaccinated) but he was due on them but I waited to long apparently so they want me to go back in for boosters, is that neccessary?

I suspect the answer is yes. Vaccine protocols do vary based upon vaccine type, prevalence of disease in the area and previous history. I recommend to discuss your concerns with the doctor. They will explain the logic behind the decision. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
