My husky has no visible penis hole; why is he urinating above it?

Unfortunately it is a little difficult to tell exactly what is going on without being able to examine Bear in person, but I am concerned that this looks like severe bruising and potentially even necrosis of the skin of the prepuce. Something like this could happen secondary to trauma, or potentially an infection or spider or snake bite. Even though Bear is in pain I think he really needs to be seen by a veterinarian - he may require sedation for something like surgery or antibiotics. If there is necrosis of the skin it could progress quickly. If you are worried about moving him you could use a large blanket to lift him into your car. You may want to use a muzzle if he is extremely painful and you are worried he may try to bite when moved due to pain. Good luck!

That all appears to be normal anatomy from that image. That isn't the urethra, that is the prepuce. This is the skin that over lies the fleshy penis. It comes to a hollow opening at the end so the actual penis can be extruded for use.

If it is the brown stuff I am seeing in the picture, it could be a small yeast infection (that is consistent with the smell you describe as well). Trim the hairs around the penis and then I would just try 25% white vinegar 75% water solution on a cloth and gently clean twice daily. If the discharge is white/creamy, yellow tinged, or even a bit crusty, that can be normal - especially for an in tact male dog. If there is problems urinating, blood in the urine or blood in the discharge, or very large amounts of the discharge, then I am more concerned. Unfortunately we are not legally allowed to recommend specific drugs/doses without a physical exam (also I have no idea what's available near you), so you'd have to call or visit the vet in that instance. I am very sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues with Prince. From the Shintoism you are describing i believe a few different issues may be present. Intestinal parasites are very common in PUPPIES, so much so that vets recommend treating puppies several times for worms in their first year. Intesta worms can cause diarrhoea, weight loss or failure to gain weight in growing animals. It also seems possible that I am Prince bas Balanoposthitis which is inflammation of the penis or prepuce. It is very common in sexually mature dogs, especially those that are unenutered. It may be caused by an infection, and may involve structures higher up in the urinary tract, such as the bladder. Therefore it is a good idea to have Prince checked out by your veterinarian. The vet can possibly examine the area and see the full extent of the inflammation, clean and rinse the area, prescribe antibiotics, and check for underlying causes. Your vet can also prescribe a worming tablet or injection for Prince. In the meantime, please try to keep Prince from licking the area, and use a cone if need be, as the licking further aggravates the condition. Yes, I would recommend having him examine by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. It is hard to say for sure from the blurry photo but it appears as though the tip of the penis is stuck out of the prepuce. It looks as though Oliver has paraphimosis (inability to completely retract the penis into the prepuce) and this can be caused by a number of things. Oh no! Luckily it looks like just the tip of Luke's penis is exposed, but if more of his penis was out for 6 hours he may have had damage to the tissue or swelling. It is also possible that a bladder stone or something else causing a urethral obstruction was causing him to strain and expose his penis. Regardless of the cause, inability to urinate is a medical emergency and you should see an emergency veterinarian right away.
