My chihuahua's nipples are leaking milk/blood and her belly is big.

If Maggie produces milk and her mammary glands are getting bigger she is either pregnant or has a false pregnancy. If her belly is big as well, then she is likely pregnant and will have her puppies soon. I suggest you take her to your vet for a pregnancy exam. If she has a falsse pregnancy your vet can stop that with a hormone injection.

It's possible that she is going through a false pregnancy (pseudopregnancy) if you are sure that she didn't get bred by a male dog. Dogs often get mammary enlargement and will lactate when they are in a false pregnancy. Your veterinarian can gather a history and assess Princess. They may want to x-ray or ultrasound her to confirm that she is pregnant or not if she was out of your sight within the past 2 months or so. A false pregnancy usually resolves without treatment but it's also possible that she is developing some mild mastitis from the mammary enlargement. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. Other care recommended for the bitch may include hydration, warm compresses using towels or cabbage leaves, and frequent expression of milk from the infected gland by hand. This alleviates discomfort and swelling while also encouraging blood flow. Hand-milking should be performed every six hours. I am wondering if Lokita might be experiencing a pseudopregnancy. Sometimes dogs will have all of the hormonal changes associated with pregnancy and can even produce milk without being pregnant. It’s important to make sure she isn’t truly pregnant even though you keep a close eye on her. I’d recommend having your vet examine her - they may want to perform an ultrasound to make sure she isn’t pregnant and if they are suspicious of pseudopregnancy they can discuss treatment.

Not all dogs get a big belly when pregnant, just like how human women are get pregnant differently. It could be Princesses is pregnant and the discharge is milk, but there could also be an infection causing it. I would have her seen by a vet for this problem. Has she been in heat recently? At her age with not being spayed I would worry about thisbdisxharge being from the uterus and her having an uterine infection. This can be an emergency that typically requires surgery. Often times they are weak, drinking more water, vomiting and not eating. Other options include a bladder infection which will need antibiotics. Your vet can distguish between the two and see what is needed

I would take Minimosa and her puppies into a vet immediately. It sounds like she could be suffering from mastitis, which is a severe infection of the mammary glands. This can be fatal without treatment, which is why it's important she is seen by a vet now. Please take her and her puppies into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
