My dog has lung cancer. What are the treatment options and next steps?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 55 lbs

I just found out that my 10 year-old pit bull terrier has cancer. I believe it's lung cancer. Just wondering what I can do. Thank you

It depends on whether or not it is a primary lung tumor metastatic disease. Ideally, you should take your pet to see a veterinary oncologist to discuss the best treatment plans(surgery vs. chemotherapy). Discuss referral with your veterinarian.
